Board of Directors

My passion for animals began when my workplace adopted two dogs. Watching my grandfather help care for them opened my eyes to the incredible, unique personalities dogs have. That experience led me to adopt my first dog, Spanky, who quickly became my whole world.
Years later, while living overseas, I witnessed firsthand the heartbreaking reality of street dogs. I adopted two who had been abused and were struggling to survive. After they passed, I returned to the U.S. and adopted another rescue through Ohio Fuzzy Pawz Shih Tzu Rescue—once again, my heart found a home.
I began sharing my rescue journey on Instagram, which connected me to fellow dog lovers and eventually the CFDDA community. I started supporting their fundraisers and was honored to be invited to join the group. During the isolating days of the COVID pandemic, the CFDDA became not only a meaningful mission but also a source of real connection and friendship with people around the world.
Today, I proudly help raise awareness and funds for animal rescues and CFDDA initiatives like our rescue van. This work has brought me purpose, joy, and a sense of community. My goal is to help others discover the same fulfillment through compassion and advocacy for animals in need.
