Jannet Drukker-Schneider
Vice President of Finance
Hi, I’m Jannet Drukker-Schneider, Vice President of Finance for the CFDDA. I live in Brooklyn, New York, and I’m a licensed speech-language pathologist, a proud mom of three amazing kids, and a passionate animal advocate.
My journey into animal rescue began in my forties when I got my first-ever pet—a Black Russian Terrier named Axel. I had no idea that one dog could change everything, but Axel did. He became my heart dog and opened my eyes to the beauty, loyalty, and love of animals. That experience sparked something in me, and I found myself drawn to helping animals in need.
Through Instagram, I connected with a group of passionate women who felt the same way I did. We became sisters in advocacy—hosting virtual events to showcase homeless animals, raising funds, transporting pets to safety during COVID, and supporting one another through every rescue mission. Those moments bonded us for life.
Recently, I welcomed another wonderful dog into our family—Dax—who I adopted from an animal shelter. He’s brought even more love, joy, and purpose into our home. With Axel and Dax by my side, my commitment to helping animals has only grown stronger.
At CFDDA, we believe in the power of community, compassion, and action. I’m incredibly proud to be part of this amazing organization, and I invite all animal lovers to join our family. Together, we can make a difference—one life at a time.
