Professionally, I’m Lissette Norton, a dedicated Purchasing Agent at a family-run manufacturing company, proudly approaching my eighth anniversary. In my role, I ensure the efficient procurement of essential materials to keep operations running smoothly—something I take great pride in.

Beyond the workplace, I’m known as Fang and Kiko’s mom. My life truly changed when I adopted Fang—my heart and soul dog. He helped me break out of my shell, connect with other dog lovers, and introduced me to @the_cfdda in 2020. Their mission to advocate, protect, and educate instantly resonated with my lifelong passion for animal welfare.

Fang was more than a pet—he was my Emotional Support Dog and eventually my Service Dog. His love helped me through depression, anxiety, and everyday life. Losing him in 2023 was heartbreaking, but in his honor, I continue our mission through his Instagram account with Kiko (rescued in 2021), S’mores, and Flare (rescued a year ago).

As a CFDDA Group Leader and Board Member, I actively raise awareness and funds for rescues and shelters worldwide. I bring my creative flair to each initiative—from digital edits for calendars and fundraisers to planning virtual events like our Sadie Hawkins Dance, The Prom, and Rescue Vacations.

Through The CFDDA, I remain committed to supporting underfunded shelters, organizing community events, and collaborating with local businesses. My goal is simple but powerful: to be a voice for the voiceless and ensure that every animal gets the love, safety, and second chance they deserve.
